3. Service Agreement

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding the scope of your move, including the number and type of items, the pickup and delivery addresses, and any special handling requirements.
  • Access: You are responsible for ensuring that we have appropriate access to the premises for loading, unloading, and delivery. This includes parking availability for our moving trucks and any necessary permissions.
  • Packing: Unless you opt for packing services, you are responsible for packing your belongings in a safe and secure manner. Hollister FL Movers is not responsible for damage to items that were improperly packed by the customer.
  • Prohibited Items: You agree not to pack or transport prohibited items, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, or items that are illegal to transport under applicable law.

5. Payment Terms

  • Pricing: Our pricing is based on the services requested, including the size of the move, distance, and any special services required (e.g., packing or storage). Pricing will be outlined in the service agreement.
  • Deposits and Payments: A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. Full payment for services is due upon completion of the move or prior to the delivery of goods to storage unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
  • Late Payments: Late payments may incur a late fee. If payment is not received within a reasonable period, we reserve the right to discontinue services or charge additional fees.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee may apply.
  • Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule your move, please contact us as early as possible. Depending on availability, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

7. Liability and Insurance

  • Damage or Loss: While we take great care in handling your belongings, Hollister FL Movers is not liable for damages or loss of items unless the damage is caused by our negligence. We offer limited liability coverage for damages; however, customers may purchase additional insurance if desired.
  • Insurance: We recommend that customers review their own insurance policies to determine whether additional coverage is necessary during the move. We are not responsible for any damage to fragile or valuable items unless specifically declared and packed for protection.
  • Excluded Items: Hollister FL Movers will not be held responsible for the damage or loss of prohibited items, including hazardous materials, perishable goods, or valuables like money, jewelry, and electronics unless stated in the service agreement.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hollister FL Movers, its employees, agents, and contractors from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of our services or any breach of these Terms and Conditions.

9. Delivery Times and Delays

  • Estimated Delivery: While we make every effort to meet delivery times, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, traffic, or mechanical issues.
  • Delays: If a delay occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide an updated delivery time. We are not responsible for any costs or damages resulting from delays unless caused by our negligence.
